Checking my whatsapp daily
to see if there is a message maybe
Invited I am for tea
I can't wait to see my sweetest pea

although I'm not at all a flirt
An extra spray of deodorant
I mean, I am more than just an acquaintant
One last glimpse in the mirror
the anticipation of seeing her is all that's left to consider
A skip in my walk
my chicken chest gets broad
